Research in Educational Technology

Sports teams are constantly watching game film to 'scout' another team.  They have to critically analyze the data and stats from the other teams in order to make effective decisions for their athletes to be successful in their next game.  This key area has taught me the importance of 'scouting' the research that is available in the field of education as well as the technology in education.  Through the research classes I have taken in the TET Program, I have gained a new outlook on my obligation into reading, analyzing and understanding research that will apply to the effectiveness of my professional growth.
