Instructional Design and Learning Environments

In the sporting world, a 'game plan' is of the utmost importance in planning a strategy for the success of a team.  This key area provided me with valuable knowledge on the importance of using a systematic design of instruction (ADDIE), for my 'game plan', to enhance the focus of my teaching.  This model has taught me how to search, develop and implement effective instruction when training adult learners or teaching the students in my classroom.

Lesson Analysis: This paper analyzes how a technology- enhanced instructional lesson was presented and how I would improve this instructional lesson to more positively influence student learning and achievement.

 

Instructional Design Project:  I worked cooperatively with two other colleagues to develop an instructional design project.  It is a presentation on how to teach the staff in our school how to use handhelds for mClass Reading Software. The design shows teachers how to monitor and assess reading levels of their students when using a handheld.  

 

Research Journal Article Review 1: This article tells about how learning naturally occurs in organizations through informal learning environments called communities of practice.

 

Research Journal Article Review 2: This article describes the six principles that need to be considered when implementing a knowledge sharing strategy into an organization.
